Description Senior Manager, Global Process Owner – Order to Cash (O2C)Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead their Order to Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable functions within the Shared Services department. This role focuses on optimizing the O2C process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment collection, and efficient payment application. The ideal candidate will spearhead global O2C initiatives and drive improvements in cash flow, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Order to Cash Process Leadership: Oversee the design, standardization, and optimization of the global O2C process, including invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable. Analyze workflows, implement best practices, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the accounts receivable function to minimize credit risk, ensure timely collections, and optimize cash flow. Monitor overdue payments and resolve disputes in adherence to company policies.
Billing and Invoicing: Ensure accurate, timely invoicing for products and services. Implement controls to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with sales, customer service, and account managers to resolve customer inquiries and disputes, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Technology Implementation: Partner with IT to select and implement ERP-agnostic O2C solutions (such as Blackline AR). Leverage technology to automate processes and enhance data visibility.
Policy Development & Compliance: Establish policies for O2C processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulations. Lead efforts to mitigate financial risks and handle sensitive information securely.
KPI Development & Reporting: Define and track KPIs to measure O2C efficiency. Report to senior management on order fulfillment, revenue recognition, and cash flow projections.
Change Management & Training: Lead change initiatives related to process redesign and technology adoption. Provide training and support for successful global transitions.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing O2C team. Set clear goals, encourage accountability, and foster continuous improvement.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications (CPA, CMA, CCE) are preferred. 5-8 years of relevant experience in O2C, accounts receivable, or financial operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience managing global O2C processes within a manufacturing or shared services environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and O2C technologies, particularly ERP-agnostic tools like Blackline AR. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process improvements and managing complex global initiatives. Experience managing multi-currency transactions and working with diverse teams across different time zones.Work Environment: Office Setting: Typically works in a corporate or regional office environment. Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with teams and stakeholders in different global regions. Global Scope: This role operates across multiple time zones, requiring flexibility for early morning or late-night meetings to support global operations.
