DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Federal-Mogul, Sparta MI has a great opportunity for a 2nd shift or 3rd shift Electronics Technician with relatedmanufacturing experience for our Skilled Trades Department within our cast-iron foundry facility.Competitive Wages and Benefits available. Starting wage at $35.00/hour with an increase to $35.40 following the probationary period.General duties include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining and repairing computerized and PLC controlled electrical equipment
Performs as an industrial electrician
Rewrite PLC programming to increase machine efficiency
Revise electrical blueprints
Program design for proprietary equipment
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified applicant must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must be a state licensed Electrician as well as have minimum 2 yr. certification with 4 yr. experience with AB (PLC-5 & SLC-500) & Siemens PLC’s – OR – 8 yr. experience with AB (PLC-5 & SLC-500) & Siemens PLC’s
The individual must also have the ability to be licensed and drive powered industrial trucks, lifts, etc and must have own tools
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screen and background check
All shifts may require some daily or weekend overtime
