Job Title: Controls EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to handle the installation to launch phases for a conveyor system. You will work on either the GM Lake Orion project or the Ford Lorain, OH plant, starting from the build phase in-house and continuing through to the launch phase at the customer site. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and debugging within the platform, programming from templates, and ensuring project timelines and deadlines are met. This role requires active involvement on the plant floor and managing various project phases.Hard Skills
5+ years of Rockwell PLC experience
5+ years of troubleshooting, debugging, programming from templates
5+ years of experience installing equipment at an OEM

Job TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Sterling Heights, Michigan.Work EnvironmentCandidate will work in various environments. The office is casual with individual cubes and an interactive atmosphere. In the field, the candidate will work in noisy plant manufacturing facilities requiring safety equipment. The team is collaborative, often supporting each other across different projects and roles. During the system build phase, expect to work 40-50 hours a week. During installation, work may extend to 60-70 hours a week, including off-shift times as dictated by the customer (GM or Ford).
