Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Eligibility Analyst in the Health Insurance industry. This fully remote role involves a variety of responsibilities from data entry to benefits analysis. It is a dynamic role within a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to handle multiple applications and engage with vendors. Responsibilities: Accurately process and manage customer data entries Analyze and process benefits and COBRA notices based on incoming data Respond to inquiries from clients and members via calls and emails Regularly update and maintain customer credit records Manage correspondence with vendors and maintain strong vendor relations Handle high volumes of COBRA enrollee processing in both COBRA and benefits administration systems Generate error reports and implement necessary corrections Verify insurance benefits for customers as required Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and spreadsheets Use multiple software applications simultaneously Requirements Minimum of one year of experience handling medical benefits (i.e. benefits specialist/administrator, customer service rep for third party benefits, open enrollment, data analysis of employee benefits, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams Strong computer proficiency with the ability to work off 3 monitors and manage up to 24 applications at once Experience with spreadsheets and business correspondence Ability to answer inquiries accurately and professionally Knowledge of Cobra Administration and Benefits Analysis Ability to verify insurance benefits and handle error reports Experience with vendor relations desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven problem-solving and analytical skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
