They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on HVAC equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs. The position involves working on rooftops and within the facility, climbing ladders, and using lifts.The role offers M-F 40 hours a week with openingsResponsibilities
Install, inspect, test, operate, and repair all refrigeration and related equipment for preserving food, making ice, cooling water, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation.
Calibrate, repair, and maintain all pneumatic control systems and related equipment.
Check, service, clean, and replace filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and document the same.
Clean and maintain grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.
Understand and demonstrate knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinate work between/with other trades.
Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled and keep records.
Respond to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required.
Maintain critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintain and account for tools used.
Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
Essential Skills
Commercial or Industrial HVAC Service Experience REQUIRED
Must have 8 years of experience or Journeyman's card
Troubleshooting and making repairs
Experience working on Roof Top Units, chillers, water towers or cooling towers, VFDs, boilers
