Career Opportunity for expert diesel mechanic seeking Management Opportunity
St Joe County Recycling has a fleet of Leaf Vacs, AutoVacs and other heavy equipment and vehicles. This opportunity is for a single person who will do the work for entire fleet except during a seasonal (6 week period when one additional person is added to supplement that you will manage.
Requires the following Expeience (Minimum of 8 years in all of the following with references provided)
- Fleet technician experience in a fleet using a digital SWO service work order platform for EX: Mitchell's.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Cummins/Mack/International Diesel Engines.
- Full tool box including everything required for service except tools/equipment normally provided by Shop.
- Full knowledge of OSHA workplace standards.
- Managing small maintenance & repair shop (1-2 Diesel techs)
- Smart Phone for Platform use/Timekeeping, etc.
- Heavy Equipment experience maintaining/repairing/operating wheel loaders/backhoes/Lifts, etc.
- Scheduling work with job time requirements
- Fleet/Shop Budgets
- Using a digital shop platform (Iphone/IPad based)
- Valid Driver's License with ability to obtain CDLA
Desired not Required Experience (upper range of comp scale Requires the following based on minimum 8 years experience)
- Valid CDLA with HAZMAT
- Heavy Equipment Operator - 4cy + wheel loader/s; Backhoes; excavators
- Cummins/CAT/International Diesel Certifications
- Hydraulics
- Snow Plowing/Removal
- Heavy Equipment Hauling
- Asphalt maintenance
- Concrete
- Facility Maintenance
