Design circuit board schematics for discrete electronics and embedded microprocessor-based controls according to system requirements.Conduct engineering analyses, including DFMEA, Worst Case Circuit Analysis, and Thermal Analysis.Select and manage the bill of materials (BOM) for electrical hardware.Contribute to all phases of engineering design, from concept through development.Manage electronic hardware prototypes, pre-production builds, qualification, and product design maintenance.Lead design and drawing reviews.Release finalized designs to production.Provide support during DV/PV validation testing.Troubleshoot and resolve technical/validation issues using the 8D problem-solving process.Assist in preparing and delivering hardware-related content for customer presentations and new business bids.
