Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in Troy, Michigan, for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer. This role functions within the industry of Quality Assurance and requires a collaborative leader with strong technical experience. As a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be expected to establish and validate quality gates, define and communicate QA plans, and identify automation opportunities, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities Establish and validate quality gates using modern tools and methodologies Demonstrate a solid knowledge of testing techniques and best practices Define and communicate QA plans that outline required test efforts for projects Utilize strong database experience and SQL or No-SQL skills to create code in at least one programming language Design and create modular, reusable, and reliable test automation solutions Understand CI/CD pipelines and enhance them for testing needs Provide constructive feedback to improve quality and communicate effectively Manage multiple competing priorities while mitigating risks to the business Comfortably work in a fast-paced environment and utilize critical thinking skills Support offshore QA engineers by leading and mentoring them, conducting code reviews, and solving problems. Requirements Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Excellent knowledge of methodologies and best practices in Quality Assurance Proficiency in database management and SQL Working knowledge of JavaScript and other programming languages Experience with AWS Technologies and GIT Familiarity with API development and automation testing using tools like Selenium Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement mitigation strategies Experience with offshore release processes and working with stakeholders Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly Knowledge of R code and conductivity Familiarity with planning processes and governance in Quality Assurance Commitment to maintaining high quality standards Experience with Quality Assurance in an Agile environment.
