Job Summary:Reports directly to the Executive Director, Community- Based Programs.Responsible for planning organizing, coordinating and executing the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the Oncology EMR and other operationally- related projects for the Karmanos Community-Based Programs.Ensures effective cross functional teamwork among project team members including internal and external stakeholders; Identifies, develops, and implements processes, system improvements and recommends enhancements. Proactively engages in both quality assurance and risk management activities to ensure project deliverables are met.Responsibilities:
Accountable for project results as stated by budget, project plan, and timeline.
Works closely with internal and external IT project leadership team to identify required resources, budgets, timelines and deliverables as it relates to new go-live sites and new features roll out.Initiates system improvements and identifies and submits requests for new product enhancements to the external IT development team.
Facilitates, coordinates and tracks accomplishments of OIS work groups’ activities to enhance work groups’ outcomes and eliminate duplication of effort between them.
Provides administrative support, when requested, for the integration leadership team such as:
Monitors project schedule and scope to ensure both remain on track.Implements and follows pre-approved procedures for any deviations.
Qualifications:1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or similar degree.2.Five years of experience in a healthcare setting: Three years of oncology experience.3.Attained recognized Project Manager Certification.
