Be your own boss by creating your own career path and pushing your professional limits.The Full Time Order Processing Specialist is responsible for organizing, processing and classifying production and plant data and performs various administrative functions to provide support to all departments at this plant.
Works under immediate supervision; relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job; job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Processes and records inventory data in the system
Places orders for material based on production trends.
Classifies production documents
Processes and records production data in the system
Classifies shipping documents
Assist Office administrators and management in office tasks needed
Prepares reports as requested by management
Train and work in plant as needed to learn the company's production flow
Performs other duties as required
Knowledge Required
Minimum high school diploma
Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer terminal, scanner, etc)
Skills and abilities
Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking
Proficiency in the use of business math.
Ability to communicate clearly and politely via phone and email with plants, co-workers, vendors, and others
Ability to develop relationships with vendors and customers
Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimum supervision
Ability to follow directions and instructions
Ability to work hours mandated by management
Ability to pass a drug test

Working Conditions
Working environment requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time. Talking and typing are essential duties of the job. Learning the factory process is required for learning the processes of manufacturing and processing orders through the office.
