Candidates will be assigned to a large automotive facility
They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on facility equipment
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, then making the necessary repairs
The position requires shift flexibility for union work
The role will involve rigging, moving equipment, welding, dolly repairs, and dock and door plate installations and repairs

Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
Anticipate and respond to customer needs
Inspect assigned areas on a routine basis and perform maintenance to keep the facility in functioning and serviceable condition
Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures
Repair and maintain plumbing, replace defective washers, mend broken pipes, and open clogged drains
Report any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions as appropriate
Adhere to safety policies and procedure
