Position Summary This position is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the Column and PolyFrit manufacturing processes. The NAC Consumables Supervisor position focuses primarily on leading the team to NAC Consumables and to maintain the stock or supply the products for the company’s DNA synthesis reagents, which are supplied to both internal and external customers. This position is responsible for directly working with the NAC Consumables Manager to ensure that all functions of the team are performed in compliance with all company procedures and external regulatory requirements. This position will be directly supervising and supporting the assigned staff, leading by example, and ensuring that all tasks are appropriately defined and documented, and taking ownership for manufacturing and quality control efforts of this team.  The NAC Consumables Supervisor serves as the technical expert for all products manufactured by this department and interfaces with the QC and QA departments of the company at the Alexandria site and at sister LGC sites to ensure products, and raw materials needed are readily available as needed under controlled protocols or are ordered through a traceable process.In the role of a people manager at LGC this position is responsible for overseeing a team of employees and is responsible for specific deliverables for the business.
