And we were recently named as one of America's Most Loved Workplaces 2022 by Newsweek! At this facility, we collect, sort, process and ship materials that would otherwise wind up in the waste stream. This requires meticulous record keeping for this highly regulated industry. You’ll be joining an awesome team of friendly and dedicated professionals. The Entry-level Office Clerk will track materials received at treatment plant in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local hazardous waste regulations and in accordance with our policies, practices and procedures.
Identifies materials received and completes appropriate paperwork.
Enters data on computerized tracking database. Identifies all incoming waste streams at treatment plant.
Integrates information with manifests, process forms, check-in sheets, and customer profiles.
Enters all system required waste tracking information into database
Record customer information to ensure compliance with program objectives.
Maintains computer files, logbooks and other files and records.
Prepares necessary manifest and land disposal restriction forms and maintains associated filing systems.
Creates and edits reports, including incoming and outgoing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Provides clerical support including reception duties, phone coverage, word processing, office supply inventory, computer user support and mail distribution.
Performs other duties as required.
Basic Requirements:
Education equivalent to a high school diploma required.
An Associates/Bachelors degree preferred.
HM126 certification is a plus.
Two or more years related experience (hospital billing coding experience strongly desired).
Working technical knowledge of 29CFR, 40CFR and other applicable regulations.
Advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
