Payroll Manager

Description We are in the process of hiring a Payroll Manager for our machinery manufacturing industry located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This role involves managing payroll functions, working with various business units, and dealing with ad-hoc project requests. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Overseeing the processing of payroll for exempt, non-exempt and union hourly employees Ensuring accurate and timely completion of payrolls across all business units Managing payroll tickets and resolving issues promptly and accurately Working with payroll stakeholders to identify compliance and policy criteria Supporting the redesign and evaluation of company processes in line with Workday and the OSV Managed Payroll service model Handling special projects and audits as assigned Developing accurate payroll reporting and analysis in partnership with management and department leads Reviewing and balancing payroll, including variance analysis and explanations for each payroll cycle Maintaining current knowledge of overall company operations, policies, and organization to provide effective customer service Utilizing skills in Accounting Software Systems, Ceridian, About Time, Benefit Functions, Ceridian Payroll System, Workday HCM, Workday HRIS, Workday Integration, Workday Payroll, bi-Monthly Payroll, and Domestic Payroll. Requirements Must have at least 7 years of experience in payroll management Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential Experience with Ceridian Payroll System is mandatory Familiarity with About Time software is highly desirable Knowledge of Benefit Functions is required Experience with Workday HCM, Workday HRIS, Workday Integration, and Workday Payroll is a must Must have experience handling bi-Monthly Payroll Expertise in managing Domestic Payroll is required Experience in Full Cycle Payroll is essential Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and discretion Ability to manage and lead a team is mandatory.
