Description:Aseptic sampling of all incoming raw materials for analytical and microbiological testing.Gathers and initiates chain-of-custody documentation for all finished goods samples from filling lines for analytical testing and microbiological testing.Laboratory Functions: Performs various laboratory tests, including but not limited to, FTIR, sensory, HPLC, ICP, wet chemistry techniques, and various microbiological testing (plate counts (TPC) and basic identification techniques) per United States Pharmacopeia (USP) test methods.Enters test sample results into ERP or Quality system and releases product from Quality Hold.QA System Functions: Supports and provides quality expertise on product and testing out-of-specification (OOS) deviations and investigations. Support corrective actions approved by the Quality Control Manager as a result of laboratory investigations. Perform statistical analyses of quality control data. Analyze and create trending reports for senior management.Create or modify standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with FDA, USP and internal quality requirements.Skills:Chemistry, microbiology, Gmp, Laboratory, bacteria culture, aseptic techniqueAdditional Skills & Qualifications:BA/BS in Chemistry or Related 2 Years Experience in Regulated products (Food, Cosmetics, Personal Care, OTC, Coatings)Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
