Sr Specialist Payroll

Description Executes full-cycle payroll processing for company personnel, including new hires, status changes, and terminations. Processes payroll-related tasks/requests, including supplemental pay requests, salary transfers, bonuses, 401K transfers, terminations of worksite employees, etc. Prepares project and timekeeping reports for distribution to Management Analyzes and processes complex payroll requests Review, audit and balancing of timecards and payroll related inputs. Ensures transactions are in compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies. Act as an escalation point for customer issues Knowledge of child support and wage garnishment orders. Maintain SOX compliant processes and documentation.Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experienceExperience Qualifications Typically 5+ years experience in a payroll related function required At least 2 years experience working in Oracle HCM payroll International payroll experience a plusRequirements Demonstrable knowledge of US and Canada payroll compliance, state and federal regulations Possess exceptional verbal and written communication acumen and expresses thoughts in an organized, concise manner Ability to manage sensitive information & maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Exercise sound judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to regularly resolve inquiries/issues Actively listen to the issues of others in a manner that elicits cooperation and support Customer service mindset with sense of urgency to task completion A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Commit to continuous learning to further professional developmentRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
