Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.50Department DetailsNo weekends, no holidays, no nights, no call, day time hours.Job SummaryResponsible for ensuring patient care and surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in quality and timely manner throughout the health system. Would also be responsible for perpetual inventory, maintaining system stock master, Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) levels and managing daily cycle count activity. Responsible for overseeing the perpetual inventory in their assigned warehouses and/or PAR locations. Follows all standard operating procedures (SOP) and policies and Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines. Able to recognize potential and actual processing errors and follow-up according to procedure or management instruction. Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintains continuity in work flow. Utilizes applicable inventory systems in use.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum of 12 months experience in Sterile Processing and /or Central Distribution is strongly preferred.
