We are a locally owned and operated business with three self-service car wash locations in Duluth, Minnesota. We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our car washes running smoothly while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and daily cleaning at our three car wash locations. A key perk of this role is the flexibility—you can typically work on your own schedule, as long as you visit each car wash daily. Most days, you decide when to get the job done, unless an urgent issue arises that needs immediate attention. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of car wash bays to ensure a tidy and professional appearance.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on car wash equipment, including garage doors, plumbing, electrical systems, water pumps, air compressors, and more.
Visit each of our three Duluth locations (19-mile loop) daily, 4-5 days per week, on a schedule that works for you—unless urgent repairs require immediate response.
Be available for occasional after-hours repairs or weekend coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of car wash systems or similar equipment (e.g., garage doors, plumbing, electrical, water pumps, air compressors).
Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between locations.
Flexible availability, with the ability to respond promptly to urgent issues when they occur.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
Previous maintenance experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
