Dispatcher
Raveill Trucking a 48 state carrier has an opening for a full time (on-site) truckload dispatcher.
2 years truckload dispatch experience dispatching 50 company OTR drivers (53ft dry van)
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Basic knowledge of DOT regulations including drivers hours of service.
Excellent phone skills
Ability to make fast and effective operational decisions.
Negotiate rates and book loads.
Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads.
Strong computer and GPS tracking skills
Familiar with Peoplenet and Prophesy Dispatch software a plus
Communicate pickup/delivery and routing information to the drivers.
Provide effective communication between customer and driver.
Has ability to multi-task and work through high stress situations
Build relationships with customers and drivers.
Must be reachable by phone after hours- emergency only.
