Primary mechanic duties with the ability to also drive dump truck or semi-tractor trailer units as needed.
Shop location: Holyoke, MN
Mechanic Position Duties:
Observe equipment to determine malfunction and repair plans.
Perform vehicle maintenance including brake jobs, wheel seals, s-cams, bushings, electrical, fuel systems, and general repairs.
Perform alignments and annual vehicle inspections.
Perform structural repairs to trailers including decal work.
Communicate in a professional manner to determine repair needs.
Ability to travel to job site to assess and perform repairs.
Willing to work 10-12 hour days during busy construction season (May-Nov).
Driver Position Duties:
Drive up to 3 days per week (10 hour days)
Must pass mandatory random drug tests
Class B CDL Driver’s License required, Class A preferred, and clean driving record
Accuracy in daily paperwork is a must
MSHA up to date
Heavy lifting of up to 110 lbs. on occasion (assisted lift)
Ability to push/pull/lift 40 lbs. as needed
High noise levels in shop area and varying temperatures with season changes
Ability to process basic math, reading, and writing
Loader operation experience preferred
Welding skills are a plus
