Primary responsibilities include ownership of real-time forecasting, translation of information into analytics to support operational and financial trends, and support for Cost Management activities within the Provider market. Success in this role will be dependent on an ability to successfully navigate and influence change across a matrix environment, quickly adapt to changing priorities, and creation of analytics, key metrics and leading indicators to drive change within business.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Interface with Optum Insight business operations and finance leaders and build relationships in support of real-time forecast and key drivers

Understand Provider business drivers and metrics to assist in identification of operating expense trends and areas of cost savings/management

Drive and develop analytics to highlight trends and areas for review

Key piece to the Provider Finance team with direct communication with CFO and his Finance team; must have knowledge of the business to provide story to results

Work collaboratively with other Financial Analytics teams

Partner to lead driver-based forecast process and automation efforts, identifying and driving process improvements that simplify work, improve the customer experience and reduce the number of touches on the Forecast cycle

Leverage technology and support the team’s development of process improvement activities, allocations, variable, and fixed expenses

6+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience

Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:CPA or MBA

1+ years of supervisory experience

Process Improvement experience

Advanced knowledge of Health Care industry

Ability to complete complex projects, influence change in complicated, fast paced, matrix environment

Excellent communication and organization skills

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
