Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented individual specializing in Cash Disbursement in the construction industry. As a Cash Disbursement specialist, you will handle the accounts payable aspect for our organization, focusing on cash disbursement. You will be crucial in managing the financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions.Responsibilities: Oversee the cash disbursement process for various entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Generate and upload Automated Clearing House (ACH) files as part of the transaction process. Print checks as part of the cash disbursement process. Utilize accounting software systems effectively for account coding and other relevant functions. Contribute to the centralization of the Accounts Payable (AP) department. Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to streamline accounting functions. Maintain a thorough understanding of accrual accounting principles and apply them in work processes. Carry out auditing tasks to ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar roles. Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting. Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems. Solid understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Ability to manage various Accounting Functions effectively. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP). Knowledge and experience in Auditing.
