Because when we follow our Mission and live our Values, we deliver Quality. The Quality & Compliance Program Manager plays a key role in driving the quality of marketing communications sent to healthcare members & patients delivered through Optum’s Marketing & Customer Operations team. The primary focus of this position will be to project manage communication compliance initiatives, quality process enhancements, and manage the on-going operations of marketing quality & compliance programs.If you are located in Eden Prairie, MN, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, in addition to the management of steady state Quality and Compliance programs within Optum Marketing and Customer Operations

Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management technique, program management, and management of quality and compliance practices

Maintain and foster collaborative working relationships with team members and internal clients

Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders

Develop and maintain detailed project plans (including resource assignments, schedules, dependencies, etc.)

Monitor and report progress throughout the project life cycle, using appropriate project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., dashboards, metrics)

Develop, document and implement project communication plans

Make presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results

Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with input from applicable stakeholders (e.g., key performance indicators, scope definition)

Identify/prioritize potential risks/issues in a timely manner and develop/implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables/milestones are missed

Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope

Collaborate in the creation of policies and procedures

Analyze project outcomes and make appropriate recommendations to improve project outcomes/processes going forward (e.g., stakeholder satisfaction, lessons learned, project team member performance)

Keep current on communication compliance standards and any revisions based on Federal legislation and ensure awareness to internal stakeholders

Support the overall business goals of Optum by performing additional duties as assigned or requested

4+ years of project or change management experience using data and information to make business decisions

Stakeholder management experience, dealing with multiple stakeholders, and forming effective partnerships

Proven solid business acumen, with the ability to strategically consult with the business

Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups

Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a data driven and results oriented approach

Ability to demonstrate flexibility in dynamic project environments with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

PMPM certification

Six Sigma certified with in-depth understanding of LEAN process

Experience leading / coaching teams

Experience with cross-functional and line of business program management

Proven strategic thinking ability to align project activities with organizational strategies contributing to overall business success

Responsibilities The incumbent serves as an Air Traffic Manager (ATM) in an ATC-6 level tower facility and is responsible for planning and directing all activities at the facility. Directs a highly technical work force, including functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel that provide air traffic control services throughout a geographic area.
