We are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Advanced Technology team. The Embedded Systems engineer will be responsible for developing controls capabilities for different motorhomes as well as troubleshooting vehicle systems, integrating 3rd party components, and high-level systems engineering.

Job Details
Key Areas of Responsibility: Create and maintain embedded software requirements. Develop embedded software system and sub-system architecture Assist in Control module selection Assist in Control module I/O specification Develop targeted software using Matlab/Simulink Follow coding standards to create dependable, maintainable software Test developed control logic using MIL and SIL Process and analyze test data and create detailed reports Create interface specifications for integration with 3rd party components Understand and develop interfaces to new devices Work with third party software for seamless integration with company's vehicles. Work with validation team on understanding issues and root causes to resolve software issues. Troubleshoot vehicle systems Perform other duties as required Travel when required to visit factory, vendors, conferences, trade shows, and other partners.
Knowledge & Skills: 3-5 years of experience in Developing embedded software using Matlab/Simulink for on-road/off-road vehicles or marine industry. Must have demonstrated skills in understanding and debugging high level vehicle system interactions Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware system level issues Experience in Targeted Code generation using Matlab/Simulink. Strong Electrical Systems Understanding C , Python experiences preferred Knowledge of DFEMA or other technical risk management tool Extensive Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet Experience in Devops Experience with automated testing tools
Education Qualification: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or any appropriate technical degree
