Description We are in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Edina, Minnesota. This role primarily focuses on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client data, maintaining daily communication with the Clinical QA Coordinator, and handling customer inquiries promptly. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Input client and examinee data accurately in the system tracker or database. Ensure that all cases contain the necessary information for the clinical review process. Effectively maintain daily communication with the Clinical QA Coordinator regarding workflow and report status. Regularly track all processes, communications, report status, and due dates via the system tracker or database. Review completed reports for accuracy, including proper formatting, grammar, and sentence structure. Ensure all invoicing is billed daily in accordance with company practices. Promptly handle and respond to incoming calls, emails, or faxes from physicians or clients requesting report status and/or information. Collaborate with transcriptionists and/or physicians’ offices when necessary regarding report details, clarification, addendums, etc. Ensure all medical records and reports are properly documented and saved in the appropriate location. Promote effective and efficient utilization of clinical resources and supplies. Requirements
Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
Must be a qualified typist.
Ability to follow instructions and respond to management's’ directions accurately.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
