This position will work onsite at one of these four manufacturing plant locations across the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Working in a multi-site team, provides exciting challenges and opportunities to learn about a wide variety of our products and therapies across many Operating Unit portfolios. You will engage with cross-functional partners to tackle the most critical challenges affecting safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics. You will be responsible for manufacturing operations technical support of one of our different manufacturing lines and engage with cross-functional partners to tackle the most critical challenges affecting safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.

Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Engineering and Problem-solving tools: MINITAB, LEAN SIX SIGMA (DMAIC), DOE, GR&R, CAPA,

Demonstrated knowledge of PFMEA, IQ, OQ and PQ

Team dynamic skills (communication, accountability, decision-making, feedback, meeting management, conflict management)

Ability to function independently as well as part of a team

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience drafting nonconformances

JOB FUNCTION Update Engineering about required upgrades based on the field experience through an Engineering change request. Participate in application development for customers in coordination with sales as and when necessary. Responsible for the completion and submission of field service reports and weekly expense reports in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with customers and report customer dynamics to the manager. Assist the Sales team with necessary technical support. Provide on-call support by phone and email as needed to customers 2-5 years of experience in the installation, service, and repair of CNC Laser equipment. Excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills with high and low-voltage equipment. Ability to interpret electrical schematics. Experience with optical and electrical test methods in support of active fiber devices such as fiber amplifiers and lasers a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently in a professional environment. Some overtime required. Travel on short notice may be required. Available to work weekends and after normal work hours as needed. Experience with Excel, CRM systems, and ERP systems. Ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Additional Responsibilities (not essential) Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
