This position may be for you; Spherion Staffing is seeking a Production Equipment Operator 3 - skilled operator, (Cell Manufacturing Machine) for ensuring imaging cards on plastic to custom carriers and insert into envelopes. This position is also responsible for identifying all parts of the order, arranging them in correct sequence and receiving approval on each job prior to run mode. Additionally, this position requires machine setup.Responsibilities:Properly set up the Cellular Manufacturing Equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a safe and productive mannerConduct visual checks of machinery and escalates any problems to leadership and maintenanceTroubleshoot Cellular Manufacturing Equipment as neededBrief incoming team members on product and task informationIdentifies potential production issuesResponsible for verifying finished product quality and completion statusEnter data from production and shift into systemDelegate tasks to a Production Assistant on an as-needed basisPerform daily cleaning of machinery, including using chemical cleanersWork with the warehouse and inventory representatives on material movementEnsure the sign off approvals meet production needsManage daily production to meet department schedulesContribute to the team?s production goalsPosition will have in-season lead duties, pay will be adjusted during peak seasonUnderstand and complies with all departmental policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, organized work areaComply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresUse all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredWorking hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMSkills:Ability to comprehend number sequencing and recognize errorsAbility to work with numbersAbility to delegate tasks and provide clear direction to co-workersMaintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendanceProficient in reading, speaking, and understanding the English LanguageAbility to follow written and verbal directionsHas good mechanical aptitudePerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environmentInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employeesAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goalAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projectsReacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assignedA service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanorEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent1 year machine operationAPPLY TODAY!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
