Now Hiring A Pharmacy Client RepresentativeJob DescriptionJob Title: Veterinary Pharmacy Technician Role Overview: As a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of animals by assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications. You will work closely with veterinarians and veterinary staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications for animal patients as prescribed by veterinarians.

Accurately label and package medications, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met.

Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.

Assist in the management of controlled substances, including proper documentation and storage.

Provide excellent customer service to veterinary staff and pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns about medications.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pharmacy equipment.

Keep detailed records of all pharmacy activities, including prescriptions filled and inventory levels.

Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with veterinary pharmaceutical practices and regulations.

Work Environment:

Work primarily in a veterinary pharmacy setting, with occasional travel to veterinary clinics or hospitals as needed.

Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Handle a variety of animal medications, including tablets, liquids, and injectables.

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification.
