Quality Extrusion is a custom manufacturer of polyethylene packaging materials. We are currently seeking a Process Technician for our Mankato, MN production facility. The Process Technician will work directly under the plant manager and assist in managing the daily operations of the company.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, some manufacturing experience and a sense of mechanical aptitude. This position coordinates various areas including the office, production process, shipping and receiving, the warehouse, and maintenance. It does require the ability to quickly problem solve, professionally communicate with vendors and customers, ensure customer commitments are met, and maintain/enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and motivate production employees
Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
Organizing, prioritize, and manage both individual and company projects/tasks
Customer Service
Quality Assurance
Discover and resolve inefficiencies
Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures, both personally and with team members
Assist with hiring of new employees
Shipping/receiving duties
Skills required include but may not be limited to:
Strong work ethic and communication skills
Organize and prioritize large volumes of work
Tech savvy with the ability navigate websites and utilize various computer programs
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Capable of doing manual labor over long periods of time
Eagerness to help in any area necessary or with any job necessary
Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Ability to move from various tasks quickly/multitask
