Grover Farm Trucking is currently taking applications on 3 available positions. We are a small company of 12 trucks running Dry Van, Hopper, and Flat bed primarily in the Midwest. We have been in business for over 16 years.
Local Position:
This position in an hourly paid position and will be home everyday. This driver will need to be able to pull a dry van and run a pallet jack. Pull a hopper hauling grain, fertilizer and feed products. Potentially flat bed work in the summers. When local work is unavailable, the driver will help around the farm with maintenance of equipment. This will include a minimum pay of 40 hours a week even when not required, but overtime will be required as needed, with some days lasting the entire 14 hour shift limit. Start times will vary but might be as early at 3 AM
Position will start at 17.50 an hour with overtime
Regional Position:
This position will primarily pull Hopper delivering feed ingredients, grain, and anything else that can be hauled in bulk. Driver will be out 1-2 night in a row 2 times a week, maybe more during peak seasons. The driver will be responsible for cleaning out the trailer in between loads. The driver must also be able to load the trailer correctly to axle out loads while maximizing the payload. This position will also need to be able to pull dry van and flatbed as work load requires.
This position is Paid at 25% of gross revenue for the truck.
Normally $1000-1400 a week
OTR Position:
This position will pull primarily Dry van on a lane from Minnesota to Colorado and back. Normally the driver will get home for a 34 reset or longer once a week, normally on weekends. However, when freight dictates the driver might get stuck out for 2 week. We have been running this lane for over 12 years and have contacts to try to keep the driver moving. This position will be 95% no touch freight and will run the same route most of every week. We have a OTR dispatcher that you will work with, the same person everyday.
This position is paid at 25% of gross revenue of the truck.
Normally $1200-1800 a week

-Trucks without Limiters, however no reason to go a millions miles an hour all day, but you can pass the super truckers.

Requirements:
-Verifiable tractor trailer experience
-Valid Health card
-Class A License, or permit with 6 months of driving experience I can verify.
-No moving violations in the last 3 years, the DUI in the last 5
-Pass pre-employment drug screening with random screening to follow.
-Ability to communicate effectively with people within the company, customers, brokers, shippers, and receivers
-Ability to maintain required Paperwork and turn in paperwork every week.
