Truck Driver/Operations Assistant

We operate Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm and occasionally in the evening hours depending on student loads. we are open to flexible hours and can also work with retirees!
Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and lead range and road ELDT Class A/B training in a working CMV
Maintain proper documentation, including daily attendance, tracking, evaluations, etc.
Emphasize safety concepts, principles and procedures based on personal knowledge, while following established curriculum.
Qualifications
MUST have a valid CDL Class A license ; Driver Training Instructor License is not required but is preferred, TDT may provide license for CDL instructors in the future.
Must possess a clean driving record: no more than 2 driving offenses or accidents in the past 2 years and no DUI in the past 10 years.
Be a patient listener and a good leader to student drivers.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate empathy and understanding in the classroom and range with students, making a positive impact in their lives.
Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED.
Must have basic computer/tablet capabilities and know how to navigate a web browser.
Previous professional education experience is a big plus.
