Here, you will make an impact by:
Design, configuration, testing, and deployment of 3M’s billing, credit, dunning and collections functionality.
Partnering with other Business/IT Analysts and System Integrators to deliver solutions in support of 3M’s global Order to Cash business processes.
Developing functional specifications which will guide the design and creation of custom solutions.
Training and mentoring other IT and Business Analysts to implement and support business solutions with consistency and high quality.
Work with SAP application specialists and developers to improve these critical business functions.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and minimum of four (4) years of IT experience.
OR
High School diploma/GED or higher and minimum of eight (8) years of IT experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
AND
Five (5) years of experience in development, configuration, or support of SAP Sales and Distribution and/or Finance/Controlling processes.
Five (5) years of experience on SAP roll-out projects and country deployments
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience working with 3M’s existing Order to Cash and/or Finance processes.
Experience working with multiple 3M businesses and/or working with global teams.
IT experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Having an IT consultancy background and experienced on using IT tools (Active control, SOLMAN, QTEST, JIRA etc.)
Good level of experience on SAP SD and FI (Credit/collections) standard configurations as well as output management
Good level of FSCM - Credit and collection area config and process knowledge
Sufficient config and process experience on other areas like OTC Order Management, Financial Accounting, Source to Pay etc.
Supervisory experience in leading and motivating IT applications development teams
Demonstrating detail oriented, self-directed and independent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Ability to support cross functional project discussions with minimal or no supervision.
Ability to lead some features or new projects from IT side that require cross functional coordination.
Travel: May include up to 10 % domestic/international
