Heavy Equipment Operator
Northern Con-Agg, LLP
We have an excellent opportunity for a Heavy Equipment operator at our aggregate plant near Marshall, MN. We offer competitive wages with full benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
1. General education, grammer and arithmetic, high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
2. Equipment operation and maintenance experience.
3. Valid driver's license
4. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
5. Must be able to pass physical
6. Ability to perform tasks that include walking, climbing equipment, working within confined spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs or more.
7. Able and willing to work in several locations in Southwestern MN.
Duties and Responsiblities
1. Performs daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
2. Operates equipment efficiently to limit downtime and minimize costs.
3. Effectively communicates in English including reading and writing.
4. Troubleshoot and problem solving situations. Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers.
5. Ensure MSHA, OSHA, DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
