Assistant Operations Manager

Surad Interpreting and Translation is seeking to hire an Assistant Operations Manager/Office Manager to join our leadership team. This position will be charged with providing inspired leadership which includes the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, recruitment strategies, promoting a culture of inclusiveness and oversight of our billing and payment processes.

Assistant Operations Manager / Office Manager responsibilities.

Operational oversight of interpreting and translation requests including assignment of contracted interpreter staff, coordination of billing functions and reconciliation, and payroll

Development, review and implementation operational policies and procedures.

Recruitment of language talent

Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

Ensure all contractual obligations are met and follow current agreements with contracted entities.

Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations to expand contractual opportunities.

Support communication between leadership, owner/President, office support, contracted interpreters, and agencies.

Develop and implement interpreter training program.

Assistant Operations Manager / Office Manager Requirements:

Must have an Associate Degree or above in a related field.

Experience with Microsoft Programs

Experience in management, operations, and leadership.

Understand general finance and budgeting, invoicing and cash-flow management.

Ability to build consensus and relationships among staff, contracted interpreters, and partners.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience managing and developing a diverse workforce.

Knowledge of contracting processes
