Angel Food Bakery, a sparkling, award-winning downtown Minneapolis bakeshop, is looking for one magical person to keep our busy, fast-growing business well organized. This is not a baking job; as our Customer Service Manager, you'll process incoming orders, answer customer inquiries, schedule courier deliveries, handle our daily bank deposits, keep our House Accounts organized, answer the phones, help with new employee paperwork, send payroll hours, reorder supplies, and generally take care of the business end of things while the bakers swirl around making fabulous cakes, pastries, donuts, cookies, cupcakes and other treats. No worries if you haven't done all of the above in your previous work; just show us your chops, and we'll show you the rest!

Our current CSM has decided to further her education (yay!), so we're on the lookout for someone equally as wonderful who wants to be a part of a business that even the Food Network, Bobby Flay, Martha Stewart Living have noticed. (Yup, we're the ones who took the top $10,000 prize at the Cooking Channel's Donut Showdown competition, and our founder is the one who prepared all the desserts for a local James Beard event.)

This job basically takes 5-6 hours each weekday (M-F)sometimes more, sometimes less. Ideally, you'd start around 7am but if that doesn't work, tell us your preferred hours.

If you've got solid work experience (sorry, no job hoppers), we'll show you the ropes, but before you get too excited, here's what we're looking for:

SELF-SUFFICIENCY: the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get the job done with very little supervision

INTEGRITY AND MATURITY: We need you here on time, every time. Attitude and work ethic are EVERYTHING to us.

PROFESSIONALISM: Leave the drama at home; we're professionals who are mature enough to leave our problems when we come to work.

TEAM PLAYER: Actually, we hate that word because it sounds so corporate, but here in our tiny bakery, we all pitch in to keep things going. So while your job primarily entails office work, if there's a line out the door and you see the staff in the weeds, you'll get smiles from your colleagues if you occasionally jump in to help.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL: oh yeah, we already mentioned that, but it's SO important for this job

HONEST: Since you'll be handling money, we'll of course have to do a background/credit check to verify your financial integrity. The last thing we can afford is someone running away with our hard-earned dough. ;/
