Modern Office is a nationwide online office furniture distributor (www.modernofficefurniture.com). We are a small business in search of the right people to help our continued growth.

We are searching for the right people to become long term members of our company. Opportunity to learn all aspects and develop along with our business.

Position Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat.

Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability.

Help customers navigate our website and place orders both over the phone and online.

Work effectively with our vendors and shipping companies to quickly get answers for customers.

Work with customers to resolve product returns, shipping inquiries and order status questions.

Problem solve.

Work to build strong client relationships.

Requirements:

Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.

Detail-oriented and have the ability to follow up on tasks.

Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Some college, Bachelor's degree or business school background a plus but not required.

Any background in office furniture or transportation a plus.

Typing skills of 45wpm+ for efficient correspondence with customers and vendors.

2+ years customer service or sales experience preferred.

Good problem solving and ability to think fast.

Compensation:

Full time position (8:30-5:00)

$21-$23/hour plus commissions to start - plenty of room to grow for right candidate

Paid vacation and personal/sick time.

401k/Profit sharing plan after 1 year.

Casual work environment.

Small office environment. Uncongested office.

Use of company gym.
