Sisyphus Industries is a small art company set up after a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2016. We make kinetic art pieces, such as Sisyphus tables and Minis, for home and office. Our production shop is in NE Minneapolis. We have grown significantly since 2016 by making high-quality products with excellent customer service. Job Description
Sisyphus Industries is looking for a customer support representative and design assistant. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills; as well as strong organization, time management and prioritizing skills. Additionally, they should project a friendly, upbeat, and enthusiastic attitude and enjoy working with colleagues and customers to “make things right”. They will need to have either technical experience or comfort in learning to trouble-shoot technical issues which will be mechanical and/or app related.
Position Responsibilities include:
Respond to all customer support inquiries via email, social media, voice, and video conference with a helpful, cooperative attitude.
Maintain a high level of professionalism with customers and work to establish a positive rapport.
Leverage internal platforms to gather customer information, support history, shipping information, product information, and order status.
Troubleshoot technical issues with patience.
Independently address and resolve lower to mid-level customer issues.
Proactively work to understand more difficult issues to triage problems independently and escalate issues to the team as necessary.
Work with the team to craft thoughtful customer support language, help documents, and training guides.
Track customer support patterns and communicate findings to the rest of the team.
An ideal candidate will also have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and basic photo editing.
Assist in creation of social media content.
Schedule time as needed to complete tasks.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Job Type:
Full-time position. The initial training period will be in our manufacturing shop. You’ll learn the assembly and common issues of the Sisyphus mechanism as well as how we handle support issues. Once that is completed the work schedule will be flexible and much of the work can be done remotely.
Pay:
$18-$25/hr.
