We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to serve as Operations Coordinator to support our agricultural workers during the production season. This role is hourly-based and combines safe worker transportation with on-site operational coordination, providing support to both workers and management.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation and Compliance
Safely transport up to 6 workers in a passenger vehicle between housing and work sites.
Maintain accurate driving logs and records as required.
Housing and Worker Support
Oversee day-to-day housing operations, ensuring facilities remain safe, clean, and compliant with program standards.
Serve as the point of contact for workers in case of emergencies, reporting issues promptly to management.
Coordinate with management regarding housing inspections, utilities, and maintenance needs.
Operations Coordination
Act as a liaison between workers and company supervisors to ensure smooth communication.
Provide real-time updates to management regarding worker attendance, housing conditions, and any issues on site.
Support onboarding and orientation of workers upon arrival.
Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license.
Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT medical certification.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Knowledge of Spanish is required.
Work Conditions
Seasonal, hourly contract position (approx. 15-20 hours/week; hours may vary based on operational needs).
Must be available during planting and harvest seasons, including some evenings and weekends.
Compensation
Hourly pay rate, commensurate with experience.
Reimbursement for authorized travel expenses related to work duties.
