The Opportunity

Road Service Advisor II

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Rate: starting $29.00/hour

Schedule:

First Shift:

◦ Wed-Fri: Start 6-8 AM, 10-hour days, and

◦ Sat: Flexible start, until 7:30 PM, 10 hour day

Second Shift:

◦ Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: Start at 10:30/11:30am, 10-hour days, until 9pm, or

◦ Sat: Mon-Fri: 8-hour shifts, 12:00/12:30pm start, until 9pm

The Job

In this role, you'll tackle over-the-road maintenance issues, ensuring our drivers and customers experience minimal downtime and maximum satisfaction. It's a position where your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for helping others will shine.

You'll handle incoming calls for breakdowns and accidents, coordinating timely and cost-effective repair services.

From arranging accommodations and travel for drivers to following up on services, you ensure our drivers are never left stranded.

Keeping DOT and permit books up to date, processing invoices, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

Setting up Samsara systems for drivers, assisting with technology use, and troubleshooting to keep our fleet moving smoothly.

Act as a bridge between drivers, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate clear and efficient communication and service delivery.

Requirements

2+ years in customer service is a must, with a strong preference for candidates with additional experience in transportation or road service.

Exceptional communication.

Critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a basic understanding of mechanical concepts are essential.

A detail-oriented, organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

A high level of self-motivation.
