School of Rock, founded in 1998 in Philadelphia, is the original performance-based music school . With over 240 schools in nine countries and a widely recognized brand, School of Rock is the largest after-school music education provider in the world. The Studio Coordinator is the customer service focal point for the School of Rock with outstanding administrative skills, phenomenal schedule management skills and the ability to juggle many tasks. Reporting to the Director of Administration, the Studio Coordinator assists with running the School and creates an amazing experience for all students, parents and prospective customers.
Primary Duties:
Handle complex scheduling for busy music school
Assist Director of Administration with a wide variety of tasks as required
Greet, and look after students
Handle opening and closing of school
Answers phones
Works on special projects, prepare reports, and other administrative tasks
Assist Studio Manager with scheduling and leading tours for prospective students and parents
Skill Requirements:
Two years + working Front Desk, Reception, and/or Customer Service role
Superior schedule management skills
High detail orientation, multi-tasker
Welcoming, outgoing and happy demeanor is essential
Good team player who collaborates well
Ability to work independently
Accountable and dependable
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass national background check and safety training
Interest in music and related arts or experience working with young people a plus
Must be 21+ years old
Days: Wednesday - Sunday
Wed-Thur 2:30 - 9:30pm daily
Friday 2:30 - 7:30pm
Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm
