Job Summary
Teachers are responsible for implementing Rayito de Sol’s established curriculum and ensuring that the programs meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of both the individuals in their class as well as the group as a whole.
Plan and implement activities to promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, and development activities and specialized programs.
Maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.
Primary purposes include developing a student’s general comprehension and understanding of the Spanish language and Latino culture and teaching general age-appropriate concepts and skills in a nurturing, safe, and respectful environment.

Qualifications:
Excellent Bilingual Spanish Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Previous Childcare teaching experience preferred.
Ability to sustain a high level of energy excel in an ambiguous and continuously changing, competitive environment
Ability to thrive under frequent pressure.
Must be able to relate to and communicate with people of varying multi-ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
Requirements:
Must meet DHS teacher requirements or assistant teacher
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Education or related field; commensurate experience considered
Willing and able to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC, and state guidelines for teachers.
Current First-Aid and CPR certification
Be able to read, write, and understand English
Able to work in the USA
