IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs Solution Architect, you will need to provide technical solutions on Big Data, Data warehousing and Cloud as per the client requirements.This will include serving as the lead Big Data representative on enterprise-wide projects. You will collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and functional teams on identifying master data improvements and lead these initiatives through completion.You will be accountable for the creation, management and maintenance of the department’s Data Governance activities. Including developing a structural framework for decision-making rights and responsibilities regarding the use of the master data. You will align with partner IT functions and business operations to ensure master data management strategy is supportive of long-term business and technology strategic direction. In addition you will determine project key performance indicators on a regular basis, demonstrating before and after data improvement outcomes and realized values.All in all you will play an instrumental role in helping to frame the enterprise-wide master data architecture and data strategy, this includes identifying the core data elements, data classification standards and overall strategy for sharing and enabling access to critical data across the enterprise; assist with identifying and planning AWS / Azure cloud services, features and capabilities.Required Technical and Professional Expertise8+ years experience with the following:

Excellent solution architecture knowledge and hands-on experience in Ab-Initio and related technologies.

Solution Architecture knowledge on Cloud and Big Data.

Excellent knowledge on Banking domain in both application development and production support is needed to manage closely integrated and high complex projects.

Strong business knowledge on customer master data management.

Extensive knowledge on AbInitio suites - Graphical Development Environment (GDE), Conduct>It, Express>It, Continuous Flows, Web Services, Testing Suites ( Test Data Management and Testing Framework), Accquire>It.

Experienced in Informatica PowerCenter 5.0

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experienced professional in data profiling, a key skill required for smooth mergers and acquisitions.

Good knowledge on Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Mongo DB
