Job Title: PackagerJob DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for building skids using hand and power tools such as a screw gun, nail gun, and tape measure. The candidate must ensure a buffer zone of 2 inches around the product and will be assembling plywood around fixtures to protect them. The role requires comfort with bending and twisting, and the ability to put together 10 skids a day, ranging in size from 32 inches to larger skids of 48 inches. Computer literacy is necessary as the company will be moving to a new ERP system in November.Responsibilities
Build skids using hand and power tools such as screw guns, nail guns, and tape measures.
Ensure a 2-inch buffer zone around the product.
Assemble plywood around fixtures to protect them.
Comfortably bend and twist during assembly tasks.
Assemble up to 10 skids a day, with sizes ranging from 32 inches to 48 inches.
Be computer literate to adapt to a new ERP system.
Essential Skills
Mechanical assembly experience (2+ years)
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to read measurements down to 1/16 inch
Capability to lift up to 75 lbs, regularly lifting 35-45 lbs
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in construction or carpentry
Familiarity with assembly line work
Experience in crate building and packaging
General labor and electrical assembly skills
