Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative =to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be the point of contact for our clients, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and delivering high-quality customer service.Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls from customers such as members, providers, facilities, and identify the type of assistance needed. Navigate through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller. Establish and maintain strong relationships with members and providers by delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner. Listen actively, ask appropriate questions, and document required information in computer systems. Conduct research on complex issues across multiple databases and collaborate with support resources to resolve customer issues. Handle escalated issues by partnering with other team members. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the status of the account. Utilize critical thinking skills to problem-solve and resolve customer concerns. Strive to meet performance goals in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, and attendance. Exhibit strong communication skills and empathy in all interactions with customers.Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address customer inquiries and complaints Proficiency in using computer systems and handling multiple databases Familiarity with call center operations and the ability to handle high volume inbound calls Experience with payment processing, billing, and claim administration Strong research skills to resolve customer issues and provide accurate information Ability to understand and explain complex benefit functions and authorizations to customers Experience working with TRICARE and NIS is desirable Strong critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems effectively Good attendance record and a commitment to punctuality Ability to meet performance goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Knowledge of healthcare facility operations is an asset Must be able to work with offshore teams effectively Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
