Job LocationMinneapolisJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Operations Specialist to join our P&G Target Customer team within the Analytics & Insights / IT organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data processes, supporting end users, and ensuring seamless service delivery. This role will be integral in maintaining data integrity, providing exceptional support, and enhancing overall team efficiency. Job QualificationsKey Responsibilities: Master Data Segmentation:
Own and manage the process for categorizing and organizing data based on predefined criteria such as store, product, date, etc.
Ensure data is consistently and accurately segmented to support business needs and analytics.
End User Training:
Proactively onboard new team members to our data ecosystem.
Provide troubleshooting support and answer user inquiries concerning data ecosystem.
Assist users in utilizing Power BI reports and building visuals in Power BI, including familiarity with semantic models, DAX, and Power Query.
L1 Operations Support:
Serve as the first level of support on our data & analytics help desk.
Ensure all help desk tickets are responded to within SLA, addressed appropriately, or escalated to the correct contacts.
Collaborate with developers to identify and prevent recurring issues.
Access Management:
Follow established protocols to grant or revoke user access to various systems and data sets.
Assist during Information Security audits and reviews related to access management.
Serve as the primary PartnersOnline (POL) administrator for Target’s vendor portal.
Service Delivery Support:
Handle administrative tasks, project work, documentation, and other activities related to ongoing projects or service needs.
Independently manage projects as opportunities arise, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Power BI, including foundational knowledge of semantic models, DAX, and Power Query.
Proven experience in data management, end user support, and project management is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is a plus, though not required.
