Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant based in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota. The role involves providing comprehensive support to a busy estates and trusts practice group. You will play a critical part in managing and scheduling estate planning meetings, assisting with client communication, and maintaining accurate tracking of clients' estate planning documents.Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate estate planning meetings with clients, ensuring efficient use of attorney's time. Assist during meetings where clients sign estate planning documents, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately. Maintain regular contact with clients via telephone and email, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Keep track of off-site storage of clients’ estate planning documents, ensuring secure and organized record keeping. Collaborate effectively within the firm's team, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment. Provide concierge services to our clients, delivering high-quality legal service with sensitivity. Utilize Microsoft Office Suites to manage and organize work effectively. Handle a variety of administrative and scheduling tasks, ensuring timely completion. Develop a general familiarity with estates and trusts including wills, trusts, powers of attorney health care directives, and health care powers of attorney. Maintain effective oral and written communication skills with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is required. Familiarity or experience with wills is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills are essential. No minimum years of experience required, entry-level candidates are welcome. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Interest in estate planning or related legal fields is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
