Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role will involve the management of all financial aspects of our operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and tax returns. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll operations, including ledger entries and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial statements, such as cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets. Manage the process of quarterly and monthly tax returns, including payroll, operating, and business taxes. Maintain a well-run system for accounts payable/receivable and manage invoicing. Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts. Contribute to the audit process by providing required information and data. Ensure compliance with all internal processes. Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure accurate staff compensation. Maintain accurate records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Computerized Accounting Systems Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform various Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis Certifications or relevant experience in financial management or bookkeeping preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information Strong knowledge of general ledger structures Ability to perform multi-task and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
