HEAD OF BANKING AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS DELIVERYWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The ideal candidate for the Head of Banking and Wealth Management Solutions Delivery/Technology Portfolio Management will possess a robust combination of technology expertise and domain knowledge within the financial services sector. They will have extensive experience managing technology solutions delivery, with a strong background in project and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall). The candidate will demonstrate proficiency in aligning technology initiatives with strategic business goals, ensuring that projects deliver maximum value and are completed on time and within budget.What you will do

As the Head of our High Net Worth Banking and Wealth Management Technology Solutions Delivery, you will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and delivery of technology solutions tailored to our banking and wealth management operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology solutions delivery strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of our banking and wealth management divisions. Ensure that technology initiatives support growth, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Project and Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects and programs across banking and wealth management. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize project outcomes.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technology professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Ensure the team is aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior executives, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions. Facilitate clear and consistent communication to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Innovation and Digital Transformation: Drive the adoption and implementation of innovative technologies to enhance banking and wealth management services. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the division at the forefront of digital transformation.

Risk and Compliance Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology solutions delivery. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies to safeguard the integrity and security of our systems and data.

Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective solutions. Leverage partnerships to drive innovation and efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all technology solutions meet or exceed organizational standards and user expectations. Implement feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.

Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including budget, personnel, and technology assets, to maximize the impact of technology investments. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve project goals.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of technology delivery initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve processes and performance. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

Client Focus: Prioritize the needs of banking and wealth management clients, ensuring that technology solutions are designed to deliver exceptional service and meet their unique requirements.

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the technological direction and execution within our banking and wealth management divisions. Your leadership will ensure that our technology strategy supports the business objectives, enhances client experiences, and maintains our competitive edge in the market.Must-Have

Minimum 7 years management experience

Minimum 10 years experience in Information Services/Technology

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Skills and Knowledge

Proven experience (15+ years) in technology leadership roles within the banking or financial services sector, especially in wealth management.

In-depth knowledge of banking and wealth management systems, digital platforms, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, ML, blockchain, and NLP.

Skilled in cloud computing, data analytics, and API integration.

Demonstrated capability to manage complex technology projects and programs from start to finish, with a strong record of delivering on time, within scope, and budget.

Strong leadership abilities, with a history of building, guiding, and mentoring high-performing technology teams.

Adept at fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture. Skilled in developing and implementing a strategic technology roadmap that aligns with business goals and propels digital transformation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders. Proficient in negotiation and vendor management.

Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to banking technology and data privacy.Proficient in risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation.

Profound grasp of the needs and expectations of banking and wealth management clients.Dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences through technological solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline or a higher degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience in an international setting, with insight into various cultural and market dynamics.

Established history of success in prior leadership positions, with concrete accomplishments in advancing technology initiatives, adding business value, and enhancing

Technology Expertise:

Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with modern development tools and platforms.

Proficiency in cloud computing, data integration, and enterprise architecture.

Experience with implementing large-scale technology solutions and managing complex IT Landscape.

Domain Expertise:

Solid knowledge of financial services, particularly in wealth management and private banking.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.

Understanding of market trends and emerging technologies relevant to banking and financial services.

Leadership and Strategic Skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving high performance.

Proven track record of optimizing resource allocation and prioritizing projects to maximize ROI.

Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, capable of continuously improving project management processes and methodologies.

Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The candidate will also possess excellent leadership skills, mentoring and guiding a team of project managers and technologists, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

CompensationStarting base salary: $141,830 - $263,408 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
