Primary Objective of Position:Disassemble and evaluate regulators designated as Standard Repairs. Determine parts that need to be replaced, update bill of material, schedule work order and communicate status to Master Scheduler and Customer Service as required. Work efficiently to attain 1-2-week turnaround of products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES .and. RESPONSIBILITIES:Returned Product-Receiving in RA returns, Review and understand information on work order from CCL notes to specific instructions on the routing. Enter in notes/information as required to properly communicate job status and part availability. Work effectively with the engineers, manufacturing engineers, systems, electronics, assembly, and test departments for assistance while conducting repair of returned product if necessary. Determines needed parts to repair and updates the routing/bill of material. Computer skills to utilize prints, work instructions, policies.Communication-Effective and timely communication with scheduler, customer service, marketing.Recommend Improvements of Equipment Repairs- Recommends methods, equipment, procedures, and design changes for ways to improve equipment repairs.Process ImprovementsCommunicates and supports the Cell team and continuous improvement concepts by suggesting changes/ improvements of set-ups and work instructions. Assists in documentation accuracy by providing suggestions.Productivity and Efficiency-Employee strives to meet Customer expectations scheduled on the dispatch list. Fixes inefficiencies if possible or Communicates waste reduction ideas to manager.Safety-Address safety concerns with products returned with fittings, chemical use in the RAs, weight, torque, and ergonomics. Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition.
