Lead Business Accountability Specialist

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to drive and deliver on our business resiliency strategy across Corporate Risk. This role will report to the Corporate Risk Resiliency Leader and will join a team focused on ensuring adherence to Enterprise Resiliency requirements and continued maturity of resiliency programs/processes. This role will primarily focus on leading Exercise Coordination activities with Resiliency Officers, Business Resiliency Coordinators, Business Owners/End Users, and Technology stakeholders to effectively comply with enterprise requirements. This role will also assist/lead other Governance, Incident Management, and/or Third-Party Resiliency activities.In this role, you will:

Serve as the Lead Exercise Coordinator for various Business/Technical Resiliency Exercises (primarily Data Center exercises) for Corporate Risk, to facilitate effective business participation/validation (involves weekend support 4-6 times per year).

Assist with Governance, Incident Management/Response, and/or Third Party Resiliency activities.

Lead/contribute to the planning and execution of large-scale resiliency work efforts and effective adoption of evolving enterprise requirements and supporting tools/systems.

Assist the Resiliency Leader in delivering on business resiliency priorities for Corporate Risk, with focus on reducing resiliency risk and maximizing efficiency.

Partner with Enterprise Resiliency and peer Business Groups/Enterprise Functions to explore and implement resiliency best practices within Corporate Risk.

Participate in the coordination of enterprise change releases and appropriate training of Corporate Risk resiliency stakeholders.

Develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks and issues identified by management, Enterprise Functions, Independent Risk Management, Audit, and/or external agencies.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) principles, regulatory guidance, and industry trends.

Experience in a combination of the following: Resiliency/Business Continuity, Exercise Coordination, Process Design/Transformation, Risk/Controls Management, Policy Adherence, Governance, Communications.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to quickly manipulate large data files into a consumable format and transpose into meaningful action and simple executive presentations.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner and provide concise updates to senior leaders.

Experience in facilitating meetings with large audiences and ability to adapt style and act with a high degree of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic and matrixed environment.

Strong organization and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, while also being able to see the bigger picture and make linkages across the enterprise.

Ability to partner, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders to gain consensus, commitment, and support to accomplish program objectives, deliverables, and tasks.

Ability to execute on a vision and strategic priorities with minimal supervision.

Meaningful knowledge of risk management frameworks, including risk appetite, risk identification, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, and ongoing monitoring.

Experience with developing procedural/control documentation and maintaining evidence to support.

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

Ability to work weekends/off-hours when data center exercises or business disruptions occur.
